Hiking and more at the foot of Gran Paradiso

Get your fill of pristine nature

Cogne - which in dialect means "corner", because five wonderful side valleys branch off from here - is the main gateway to the Gran Paradiso National Park through the nearby Valnontey and its territory is over 95% protected area. The park, the oldest in Italy which as just celebrated its centenary, historically descends from the hunting reserve which was established by the House of Savoy at the beginning of the last century and then donated to the state. Symbolized by a proud ibex, the territory hosts a variety of itineraries to admire hundreds of rare species of protected flora and fauna up close. We will be happy to provide you with advice and practical tips for planning exciting activities.
